Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce coffee liqueur
  • 2 ounces chai tea concentrate, chilled
  • 1 ounce heavy cream
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 whole star anise for garnish


Instructions

  1. Fill a short cocktail glass with 1 cup of ice cubes, leaving some room at the top.
  2. Pour 2 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce of coffee liqueur, and 2 ounces of chilled chai tea concentrate over the ice. Stir gently with a cocktail spoon for about 10 seconds to mix the flavors.
  3. Slowly pour 1 ounce of heavy cream over the top of the drink, allowing it to swirl through the chai and coffee mixture. Stir gently once or twice.
  4. Sprinkle 1 pinch of ground cinnamon on top and add 1 whole star anise for garnish. Serve immediately while cold.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the level of cream and spices to suit your taste.
This drink can be prepared as a mocktail by omitting the vodka.
