Instructions
- Whisk the matcha: Add the sifted matcha powder to a small bowl and pour in the hot water. Whisk using a zigzag motion until smooth and frothy.
- Heat the milk and cinnamon: In a saucepan, combine milk and ground cinnamon. Heat over medium until warm but not boiling.
- Sweeten the milk: Remove from heat and stir in honey until fully dissolved into the cinnamon milk.
- Combine and serve: Pour the whisked matcha into a mug and slowly add the warm cinnamon milk while stirring gently. Top with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
Notes
Use a hand whisk or a matcha whisk for the best results.
Adjust the sweetness according to your taste by varying the amount of honey or syrup.
