- 2 tablespoons hot water (not boiling)
- 1 cup milk (any kind)
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 3 large strawberries, diced
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons milk (for foam)
- 1–2 tablespoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Whisk the matcha powder with hot water in a small bowl until smooth.
- Mash the diced strawberries with sugar or honey until juicy.
- Combine the mashed strawberries with heavy cream, milk, and vanilla extract; froth until thick and creamy.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour in the milk, then add the matcha on top.
- Spoon the strawberry cold foam over the matcha latte.
Notes
Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of sugar or honey used in the strawberry mix.
For a richer flavor, use whole milk or a milk alternative like oat milk.
Make sure the hot water is not boiling to preserve the flavor of the matcha.
