Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz silver tequila
  • 1 oz cointreau
  • 0.5 oz jack daniel’s tennessee whiskey
  • 0.5 oz blackberry syrup
  • 0.5 oz lime juice
  • salt and lemon wedge for rimming
  • garnish: fresh blackberry or lime wheel (optional)


Instructions

  1. Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a glass and dip it into salt.
  2. Fill the glass with ice and set it aside.
  3. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine Jack Daniel’s, silver tequila, Cointreau, blackberry syrup, and lime juice.
  4. Shake vigorously until well chilled.
  5. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
  6. Garnish with a fresh blackberry or lime wheel for an appealing presentation.
