Instructions
- Chill the glass: Place a martini glass in the freezer for 5-10 minutes or fill with ice and cold water while preparing the drink. Cut a small slice of pink grapefruit for the garnish.
- Juice the grapefruit: Squeeze enough fresh pink grapefruit to yield 1 1/2 ounces of juice and pour it into a small measuring cup.
- Combine the ingredients: Fill a cocktail shaker with 1 cup of ice cubes. Pour in the vodka, grapefruit juice, vermouth, and simple syrup.
- Shake the mixture: Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the shaker feels icy cold.
- Strain and garnish: Remove the ice water from the glass if you used it, strain the cocktail into the chilled glass, and garnish with the pink grapefruit twist.
Notes
For best flavor, use fresh pink grapefruit juice.
Adjust the simple syrup to taste for sweetness.
