  • 1 ounce coffee liqueur
  • 1 ounce pumpkin puree
  • 1 ounce heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • extra pumpkin pie spice, for topping
  • 1 cinnamon stick, for garnish, optional
  • 1 tablespoon whipped cream, optional


Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 ounce of pumpkin puree, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, 1/4 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  2. Add 2 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce of coffee liqueur, and 1 ounce of heavy cream to the shaker. The mixture should create a creamy tan color with a pumpkin swirl.
  3. Fill the shaker with 1 cup of ice cubes and secure the lid. Shake for about 15 seconds until the shaker feels cold.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a short rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  5. Sprinkle extra pumpkin pie spice on top. Optionally, garnish with a cinnamon stick and whipped cream before serving immediately.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup to suit your taste.
For a non-alcoholic variation, omit the vodka and coffee liqueur and enjoy a creamy pumpkin beverage.
