- 0.75 oz aperol
- 0.75 oz amaro nonino
- 0.75 oz lemon juice
- 0.25 oz strawberry jam about 1 bar spoon
- 3 dashes bitters
- strawberry for garnish
Instructions
- Add strawberry jam and lemon juice to a shaker and stir or perform a short dry shake to loosen the jam.
- Incorporate bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, bitters, and ice into the shaker.
- Shake vigorously until well chilled, approximately 10 to 15 seconds.
- Double strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass or over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.
- Garnish with a slit strawberry placed on the rim.
Notes
For an extra fruity touch, enhance the garnish with a fresh strawberry.
Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of strawberry jam.
