  • 0.75 oz bourbon
  • 0.75 oz aperol
  • 0.75 oz amaro nonino
  • 0.75 oz lemon juice
  • 0.25 oz strawberry jam about 1 bar spoon
  • 3 dashes bitters
  • strawberry for garnish


Instructions

  1. Add strawberry jam and lemon juice to a shaker and stir or perform a short dry shake to loosen the jam.
  2. Incorporate bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, bitters, and ice into the shaker.
  3. Shake vigorously until well chilled, approximately 10 to 15 seconds.
  4. Double strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass or over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.
  5. Garnish with a slit strawberry placed on the rim.

Notes

For an extra fruity touch, enhance the garnish with a fresh strawberry.
Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of strawberry jam.
